2011 WINTER TRAINING
(26-31 December 2011)

CRYSTALLIZATION-STUDY OF THE PSALMS (2)

2011 Winter Training Banners:

Whenever God's people exalt Christ,
giving Him the preeminence
in every aspect of their living,
there is restoration and revival.

To take God as our habitation,
our eternal dwelling place,
is the highest and fullest
experience of God.

God's heart is set on Zion,
the city of God, with Christ within it,
and on Zion we have the church
as the Body of Christ
and God's economy for His testimony.

The praise in the Psalms
issues in the consummate praise
with Hallelujahs
because the earth
has been fully recovered by God
and brought under the reign of Christ
with the kingdom.

"The earth is Jehovah's, and its fullness, the habitable land and those who dwell in it."
(Psa. 24:1)

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! The 2011 Winter Training held in Anaheim, California last 26-31 December 2011 drew out a deep aspiration in all the saints in His recovery for the kingdom of the world to become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ that He will reign forever and ever. This was in continuation of the words released in the last Summer Training 2011, impressing us on God's ultimate goal for the entire earth to be recovered that the Lord's kingdom would fill the whole earth. With such a realm, God's glory will be expressed everywhere.

For God's goal to be fulfilled, He needs the church as the city of God. God in Christ will turn the earth to the Lord through the church as the city of God. It is through the church as the city that the earth will be recovered. For this, the need is great for the churches everywhere to be not only the house of God, but the city of God where God's headship be honoured, and we are being built up as His unshakeable kingdom. When we reach the stage as the city, the earth is recovered, the Lord will return and this will be the greatest dispensational change. When this happen the Lord of glory will take possession of the entire earth. He is getting the whole earth, every part of it. Hallelujah!

For the Lord to gain the earth, He must first gain us. We need to be those who turn from religion and law to the wonderful all-inclusive Christ, enjoy and experience Him, have personal and intimate relationship with Him, and exalt Christ by giving Him the preeminence in our living. We will then become His corporate enlargement that is the church as the house of God. In Christ, with Christ and through Christ we live where God lives, as the church, His house. The house is to be strengthened and deepened to be the city, the kingdom of God.

Unfortunately, before the passing away of the apostles, the church began to deteriorate and become desolate even as early as at the end of the first century. Such a degrading and desolating condition of the church continues throughout the church history until now. The intrinsic reason being Christ is not given the preeminence in everything. Therefore it was a highlight of the training this time of the need for overcomers. They are Zion, the overcoming ones, who are gained by the Lord and gave the Lord the first place in all things. They love the Lord with their first love and regard Him as everything in their life. They experience the conquering of what frustrates God's economy and carry out what is in God's economy. They have the highways of Zion in their hearts, wanting the Lord whom they love and whom they serve to finally have His counterpart, prepared for Him as glorious church for His satisfaction. They want the Body of Christ built up and the new man perfected so that the enemy is crushed under their feet. They desire to become God's overcomers for the recovery of the earth!

This flow of burden nourished, uplifted and revolutionized over 5,000 saints who attended the Winter Training on the Crystallization-study of Psalms covering Psalm 73-150.

Message One: The Need for Christ as Our Unique Portion and Desire
to Be Properly Appreciated and Exalted by Us

The intrinsic reason for the desolation of God's house was that Christ was not properly appreciated and exalted by God's people as their unique portion and desire. They did not give Him the preeminence, the first place in everything. In order to recover the desolate state of the church, God needs to deal and strip His people that they would be emptied of everything to receive only God as their gain and be rebuilt with the Divine Trinity to become the masterpiece of God, fulfilling God's eternal economy for His expression.

Message Two: The Secret Revelation Concerning the Enjoyment of Christ
as the Incarnated Triune God, the God-man

In the house of God, we have the secret revelation concerning the enjoyment of Christ as the incarnated Triune God, the God-man. We will have such a sweeter experience of the house of God in Psalm 84 only when Christ being our unique portion (Psalm 73) and having the unique position (Psalm 80) are secured and recovered. Thus, for us to enjoy the blessings of dwelling in the house of God, the enjoyment of the incarnated and consummated Triune God, we have to pay a price to take the way of the church, the highways to Zion.

Message Three: God's Desire for Zion with Christ

In Psalm 87 we see that God's heart is set on Zion, the city of God, with Christ within it. Zion typifies the overcomers as the high peak, the center, the uplifting, the strengthening, the enriching, the beauty, and the reality of the church. The purpose of God's salvation is for His Christ, for His house, and for Zion, the city of God, in order that one day He might gain the entire earth through Christ with His overcomers. This is also the focus of the Lord's recovery, to make us the elevated peak—the holy city of Zion by constituting us with Christ. As we see this vision, and we cooperate with Him to gain this elevated city, to become this city, and to live in this city, then He has the way to genuinely take over this usurped earth.

Message Four: The Highest and Fullest Experience of God—
Taking God as Our Habitation, Our Eternal Dwelling Place

The overcomers are those who take God as their habitation, their eternal dwelling place as Christ did in Psalm 91. This is the highest and fullest experience of God. To dwell in God is to have our living in God, taking Him as our everything. Our experience of dwelling in God paves the way for Christ to come to possess the earth so that God may recover His title (ownership) and right over the earth.

Message Five: Christ's Eternal and Unchanging Existence in His Resurrection

Psalm 102 unveils Christ's death and His eternal and unchanging existence in His resurrection. The product of Christ's death and resurrection is the church, typified by Zion with God's house and God's city. In Psalm 102:16, Zion was being rebuilt which typifies the rebuilding of the devastated church. As a result of this rebuilding, all the nations will turn to the Lord, and the kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of God and of Christ.

Message Six: The Highest Revelation of Christ

Psalm 110 presents to us the highest revelation of Christ. In this Psalm, Christ is a King sitting at the right hand of God. Christ needs a footstool. Thus, God is subduing all of Christ's enemies to make them His footstool. This fighting will last till the Lord comes back where the nations and all who oppose Him will be judged and the kings and the head of the enemies will be shattered. As God's overcomers, we cooperate with Christ's heavenly ministry in the day of His warfare by presenting ourselves as freewill offerings to the Lord that He may be watered.

Message Seven: Christ as the Cornerstone for God's Building

In Psalm 118:22-26 Christ is revealed as the cornerstone. In God's New Testament economy Christ as the cornerstone is saving us to make us living stones for the building up of God's spiritual house. Then, He transforms us that we may be built up into a dwelling place of God. This is the desire of God's heart, to have a dwelling place on earth constituted with Christ and according to Christ.

Message Eight: The Functions and Blessings of God's Law
as His Living Word to His Loving Seekers

Christ is also the reality of the Law as God's living word to infuse His living substance into His loving seekers. As God's loving seekers we need to take every part of the law as the word breathed out by the God whom we love. Then we will have the law in the aspect of the life-giving Spirit. Otherwise we will have the law in the aspect of the killing letter if our attitude in coming to the law is to care for the commandments in letters.

Message Nine: The Preciousness of Zion and Jerusalem
and the Situation of the Overcomers in Zion

God desires for Zion, so does the heart of God's overcomers. Zion and Jerusalem is so precious to them. Zion in Jerusalem was deeply in their consideration and they are deeply concerned for Zion. They have highways of Zion in their hearts while living the practical church life. These are those who give themselves to the Lord for the building up of the Body of Christ, for Christ to return for His bride and become God's habitation, God's resting place.

Message Ten: Jehovah's Commanded Blessing of Life
on Brothers Who Dwell Together in Oneness

In Psalm 133, God commanded blessing of life on brothers dwelling together in oneness in the church, the house of God. They are the overcomers who live in a practical church life. They live and remain in the church life by the grace they receive on the mountains of Zion. This grace is given to them as believers who seek to answer the Lord's calling to be His overcomers in the dark age of the church's degradation. Eventually these overcomers become the blessing to the church (Psalm 134).

Message Eleven: The Recovery of the Earth
through God's Reigning in Christ and His Kingdom

The book of Psalms unveils the recovery of the earth through God's reigning in Christ and His kingdom. Christ will set up His universal kingdom with the nations as His inheritance and the ends of the earth as His possession; He will rule the nations with an iron rod. The church ushers in Christ's kingdom for Christ to rule over the nations. When the church is enlarged to a city, in which we enjoy God as our everything, God will subdue the peoples and the nations through the city and rule over all the earth in Christ as the great King.

Message Twelve: Offering the Consummate Praise to God for
the Recovery of Christ, the House, the City, and the Earth

Finally, God's children carried out the highest work to offer up praises to God. This is the highest expression of a saint's spiritual life—his praise to God. Spiritual victory does not depend on warfare—it depends on praise. We need to see that God is above everything and that He is worthy of our praise. Exodus 15:1-18 is a song of praise to God for His salvation and His victory, leading to God's habitation and God's kingdom. The goal of God's salvation is the building of His dwelling place for the establishing of His kingdom, and for this we, like Moses and the children of Israel, should praise the Lord. We give the Lord the greatest and highest praise because He has turned us from the law to Christ, that Christ has brought us to the house, that He is enlarging the house into the city, and that from the city He will gain the earth; then God's purpose will be fulfilled, and we will declare, "O Jehovah our Lord, / How excellent is Your name / In all the earth!" In the church life and in our personal life, we need to offer consummate praise to God. Hallelujah!
