LORD'S MOVE TO EUROPE

REPORT ON THE VISITATION TO UNITED KINGDOM

"Jehovah reigns! He is the One on the throne, actively administrating the world situation for His move on earth to carry out His recovery. Amen. What a blessing that we can be a part of His move! The Lord's move and our move are both signified by a wheel (Ezek. 1:15-16). The wheel within the wheel is the Lord's move in our move. When God's people move, God moves. If God's people do not move, God has no way to move.

"Through much fellowship and prayers, we felt led by the Lord to make a definite decision to go and to participate in the Lord's move in Europe, starting with visits to United Kingdom (UK). We went to see the Lord's vineyard, and visited the churches with the saints, and especially the students and working saints who have gone there from our own country, Malaysia. Indeed our eyes were opened up to see the Lord's move, His work and blessing and His ever-increasing need for more labourers. We were much encouraged and comforted too that our going there brought much fellowship in the Body for the furtherance and advancement of the gospel. Below is a brief report of the most recent visit to UK and some highlights.

"From 27 April until 15 May 2012, thirty saints visited UK. We were grouped into five teams and travelled in three different routes, having visited thirty-six places. Throughout the entire trip, we met with 398 saints, including 91 saints from Malaysia and 306 local saints. On our list, there are 118 saints from Malaysia who are spread out to 37 places throughout UK. The number of saints visited in the three routes at different localities is tabulated as below:

Coordination Meeting

During this trip, we had the opportunity to attend the coordination meeting held every Wednesday morning in Bower House, London. All the coordinating saints who labored for the Lord's move in different parts of Europe will be updating one another on what the Lord has done for mutual encouragement and prayers. During our stay at Bower house, the bi-annual weekly perfecting training for the month of May was also conducted at the same time. There were altogether 96 saints who attended the coordination meeting with the one week trainees from different localities and countries, namely, Stockholm, Holland, Slovenia, Paris, Yugoslavia, Estonia, Romania, Finland, Germany, Southern California, China, South Korea, Ipswich, and London. During the fellowship, the co-workers shared regarding the book of Revelation on the testimony of Jesus, the churches and the significance of Europe in God's ultimate move. Brother Joe Davis fellowshipped concerning Brother Lee's burden in Europe. The saints were encouraged because it is most blessed to be part of the Lord's move in Europe. This weekly perfecting was a great opportunity to gather the saints from various localities throughout Europe. Presently, although the number of saints in each of this locality is relatively small, their being able to be gathered and to be blended in the Body became a strong encouragement to one another to stand firm as the Lord's testimony throughout Europe.

Blending with FTTL Trainees

At Bower house, we blended with the trainees from London Full-time Training (FTTL) during their classes and during meals. What a joy to gather with other fellow trainees in different training centres yet under the training of the same one ministry, doing the same one work of building up the Body of Christ. It was truly a time of refreshing and mutual encouragement. We offered ourselves afresh to the Lord to follow the Lamb wherever He goes. "Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your warfare, in the splendour of their consecration. Your young men will be to You like the dew from the womb of the dawn." (Psa. 110:3).

Truth Seminar

We also had a chance to attend a "Truth Seminar" that was held in Central London on 29 April 2012. This seminar was opened to those who have a desire for God's words and the high peak truths. It was attended by radio listeners to the radio broadcast of the ministry. There were around 120 attendants. After the seminar, 17 new ones signed up for the home Bible study. They were later invited to the Amana Trust Bookshop, located in one of the busiest street in Central London. We can testify that there is an open door for the word! Amen. Through the radio broadcast and the Rhema distribution of free literature, many have been sanctified and liberated by the truth. The truth prevails. Hallelujah.

Contacting of Full-timers, Working Saints, and Students

Throughout this trip, we met some saints who answered God's calling and presented themselves to the Lord by serving full-time in UK. From their testimonies, we really see that to be full-time simply means to live to the Lord. Whatever they do, they do to the Lord; whatever they are, they are to the Lord.

We also met many working saints who went to UK for the Lord's interest. By emigration, they became useful vessels for the Lord to move in Europe because they are at the right place and right time with the right concept. These saints are from the United States, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and China. There were also other local saints from Europe who were willing to take up the burden to move to meet the Lord's need. A certain proverb says: "When a tree is uprooted, it dies, but when a person is uprooted, he is more living." It is interesting to note that Brother Lee once remarked: "If you remain with a wrong concept in a wrong place, you may feel that you are not useful, but if you go to the right place, a place where the people need you, you will be very useful." (The Practice of the Church Life according to the God-ordained Way, p. 116).

Among these working saints, about 50 of them are from Malaysia. Some of these saints testified that because of the Lord's move in Europe, they stood firm, stayed on and trusted in the Lord for their living. At the same time, they practiced the church life and coordinated with the local saints to serve in the place where they stayed. They shared that their daily living is very important because it is a testimony to express Christ to their colleagues, neighbours and friends. The Lord is really faithful and cared for them. When they had just a little heart for Him, He graced them. Some participated in the Rhema mass distribution of free literature, door-knocking, and shepherding of the saints. They even prepare their children with a view that one day this new generation will be raised up by the Lord to be full-time serving the Lord. They are ready to cooperate with the Lord and move anywhere the Lord wants them to go.

There are also many Malaysian students in UK. According to our list, there are about 50 saints who are studying there. Many of these students meet at the homes of the saints. Some of these houses are strategically located nearby the campuses. These homes become gospel stations for students to gather together. The families would open their house for love feast, Bible study and campus meeting. The students love to come to the saint's house to be cherished and to be nourished with the word of God.

They testified their experience of setting up counters to distribute spiritual literatures and Bibles during the campus new intake of students in order to approach more young people. The most effective way is for the students themselves functioning as the living seeds to contact their friends. Through this way, a number of campus students have been gained by the Lord. Amongst them are some local citizens. Eventually, these students enjoyed coming together to study the truth and to enjoy and experience the Lord together in their daily living. With the proper shepherding and adequate teaching of the high peak truths, gradually, the campus students have the aspiration to be perfected and to be trained by the Lord. They are willing to join campus trainings and have the desire to join the full-time training.

We saw how important it is when we rise up to coordinate with the Lord to be living and functioning members of the Body of Christ, each functioning according to the measure of each one part. What a privilege that we can participate in the Lord's move to Europe by taking a further step practically in our going there as full-timers, as working saints, and as students to be part of the Lord's testimony. "I believe that at the end time, before Antichrist comes, the Lord will shame His enemy by establishing a strong testimony in Europe. I am burdened that we would go to every country in Europe... The greatest need for our labour in the Lord's recovery today is in Europe. We need to send a good number of young brothers and sisters there." (From an unpublished message given by Witness Lee on May 7, 1977, in New York City; used by special permission from Living Stream Ministry)

Love Feast and Blending

At the end of our trip outside of London, we had a love feast and blending over the weekend on the 12 and 13 of May at Bower House. This was the most anticipated day throughout our stay. A total of 120 saints attended comprising of about 25 saints from Malaysia together with their families currently living in London and other parts of UK and 65 local saints. What an extended family gathering together in His name. Praise the Lord! In opening up the meeting, Brother Joe Davis gave an overview of the church in Philippi, stating the function of the church in the furtherance of the gospel. Some brothers from Malaysia also shared concerning the purpose of the visit to UK. On the one hand, it is necessary to continue to cherish and to nourish the saints who were once under our care but who are now abroad in other countries. On the other hand, the shepherding rendered ought to issue in the growth and experience of life leading to the functioning in the measure of each one part for the Body of Christ. Regardless of our status and place of origin, we are members of His Body. Hence, we are Body-conscious and Body-centred. There is just one work and the same one flow in the Body. In corresponding to the Lord's will, all the saints need to rise up and cooperate with Him by being living and functioning members.

We had the Lord's Table meeting the following day. Brother Joe Davis touched on the importance of prophesying and blending and shared on how we could participate in the Lord's present move based on the book, The World Situation and the Direction of the Lord's Move. He concluded that all the saints need to practice the one accord because when there is one accord, there is the blessing from the Lord.

May the Lord bless His recovery and the churches with the saints for His move on the earth today. Amen.

BIBLES FOR EUROPE

In the Summer of 2012, the Olympic Games (27 July to 12 August) and the Paralympic Games (26 August to 9 September) will beheld in UK, with 200 participating countries and an expected 10 million tickets sold. Prior to this, the Olympic Torch will be relayed for 70 days around the entire UK (19 May to 27 July), passing through more than 1000 cities, towns, and villages. The saints throughout the United Kingdom are going out to distribute the New Testament Recovery Version and literature during this period of time. Our burden for this time is to send supplies and teams of saints to support the local saints in the distribution of Bibles as the Torch passes through their town and also during the Olympic and the Paralympic events. For this distribution, 50,000 New Testaments Recovery Version have been ordered, and it is our desire to reach as many people as possible during this window of opportunity.

The distribution will be carried out in one-week blocks as indicated below:

Further details on how to participate and distribution updates can be found at: http://distribute.biblesforeurope.org

"We do not need to do that much. We just need to go out with a pure
heart, without anything to ourselves but all things to Him.
Just go out with all the truths and the Recovery Version to read to people.
I assure you that you will catch someone every week."
